Aurelio Costarella was a self-taught Australian fashion designer born in Perth, Western Australia to Italian parents. He became one of Australia's most renowned couturiers, known for creating demi couture pieces with intricate beading, luxurious fabrics, and sculptural silhouettes that were worn by royalty and international celebrities. He passed away in 2025 at age 60.
